By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or engaging us to carry out work, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
3. Use of Our Website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful

• Submit false or misleading information through any contact or quote form

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems

4. Online Enquiries and Quotes
Submitting an enquiry or quote request through our website does not constitute a contract. All quotes provided whether online, by phone, or in writing are subject to the following:

• Quotes are indicative only until a formal written quotation has been issued and accepted

• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated

• Final pricing may be subject to a site survey, access arrangements, and the scope of materials identified

• We reserve the right to revise a quote following a survey if conditions differ materially from those described in the initial enquiry

No work will commence until a formal written quotation has been accepted in writing (including by email) by the client.
5. Our Services
Remion Ltd provides specialist asbestos management services including, but not limited to:

• Asbestos surveys (management surveys and refurbishment/demolition surveys)

• Asbestos removal and remediation works

• Asbestos management plans and consultancy

All work is carried out in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and relevant Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance. We hold the appropriate accreditations required to carry out asbestos work.
6. Your Responsibilities as a Client
To enable us to carry out work safely and effectively, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about the property, site, and any known or suspected asbestos-containing materials

• Ensure safe and timely access to the site on agreed dates

• Notify us of any known hazards, access restrictions, or relevant conditions on site

• Not disturb, interfere with, or remove any suspected asbestos-containing materials prior to survey or works

• Ensure appropriate personnel are available to provide access and sign off on completion

Where inaccurate or incomplete information causes delays, additional costs, or health and safety concerns, Remion Ltd reserves the right to suspend work and recharge any associated costs.
7. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following payment terms apply:

• Payment is due within 30 days of the date of invoice

• For new clients or large-value contracts, we may require a deposit prior to commencement of works

• We accept payment by BACS bank transfer. Details will be provided on your invoice

• Late payment may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998

• We reserve the right to suspend services or withhold documentation (including clearance certificates) until outstanding invoices are settled.

8. Cancellations and Postponements
We understand that project timelines can change. However, the following cancellation terms apply:

• Cancellations made with more than 5 working days' notice will incur no charge

• Cancellations made with 2 to 5 working days' notice may incur a charge of up to 50% of the agreed contract value to cover mobilisation costs

• Cancellations made with less than 2 working days' notice may be charged at the full contract value

Where Remion Ltd is unable to proceed due to circumstances within our control, we will reschedule at no additional cost to you.
9. Liability
9.1 Our Liability to You
Remion Ltd carries appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance. Our liability to you in connection with any services provided is limited to the value of the contract for those services, except where loss arises from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
We are not liable for:

• Loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity

• Indirect or consequential losses

• Delays caused by factors outside our reasonable control (including weather, restricted access, or third-party delays)

9.2 Your Liability
You will be responsible for any loss, damage, or additional costs incurred by Remion Ltd arising from:

• Inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you

• Failure to provide safe and timely access

• Interference with works in progress

9.3 Asbestos Risk
Asbestos surveys identify materials that are suspected or confirmed to contain asbestos based on visual inspection and sampling. No survey can guarantee the identification of all asbestos-containing materials present in a structure. Our reports are produced in line with current industry standards but do not constitute a guarantee that all such materials have been identified.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website including text, images, logos, graphics, and reports produced by Remion Ltd is our intellectual property or used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our prior written consent.
Survey reports, management plans, and other documents produced by Remion Ltd are provided for your use in relation to the specific property or project for which they were commissioned. They may not be reused, transferred, or relied upon by third parties without our written agreement.
11. Privacy and Data
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website at www.remion.co.uk/privacy-policy. By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
12. Complaints
We take quality of service seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please contact us in the first instance so we can try to resolve the matter promptly. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 2 working days and provide a full response within 14 working days.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
